About the Role
We’re seeking an Executive Assistant who will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and a key contributor across the organization. Located in the Chicago market and reporting directly to the CEO, you are a driven, enthusiastic professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You’re organized, proactive, resourceful, and energized by supporting our senior leadership behind the scenes.
In this role, you will help maximize the CEO’s effectiveness, streamline daily operations, and support cross-functional priorities. Beyond traditional EA responsibilities, you’ll strategize and contribute to social media content, brand events, trade shows, and real-time brand storytelling. You understand our audience, stay plugged into cultural and social trends, and know how to capture moments that resonate.
If you think big, move fast, and execute with excellence, we’d love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Proactively manage complex calendars, balancing competing priorities, minimizing conflicts, and preparing agendas, materials, and pre-reads.
- Handle daily administrative tasks including inbox management, travel coordination, expense tracking, and document organization.
- Support a multi-time-zone organization with flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities and meeting schedules.
- Anticipate needs, maintain a pulse on organizational priorities, and help the CEO “see around corners” while handling sensitive matters with discretion.
- Support events, set-up, offsites, and onsite gatherings that are engaging, on-brand, and budget-conscious.
- Capture content at brand events and assist with real-time social media storytelling to support brand awareness and engagement for use across platforms.
- Coordinate special projects and operational initiatives across the organization.
- Provide light personal-assistant support as needed.
What You'll Bring
- 2 - 3 years of Executive Assistant experience, ideally supporting C-suite leaders; experience in a wellness startup or high-growth environment is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must reside in the Chicagoland area.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%.
- Proactive & Creative – You bring bold ideas, execute quickly, and don’t require constant direction.
- Digitally and socially native and willing to ideate, create and edit UGC and EGC for social platforms
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to operate in fast-paced environments with outstanding attention to detail.
- High initiative, strong problem-solving skills, and a resourceful, can-do mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- On-Camera Confidence – Comfortable speaking on camera and engaging audiences authentically.
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, all social platforms, including Tik Tok, Instagram, Linked In and Substack.
- Culturally fluent and ahead of emerging social and digital trends.
- Creative, ambitious, and deeply connected to social media culture
- A passion for health, wellness, and mission-driven brands, with alignment to Supergut’s values and vision.
Why You’ll Love Working at Supergut
- 100% remote-first team with flexible work hours.
- Mission-driven company making a real difference in people’s health.
- Collaborative, fast-moving environment with room to innovate.
- Competitive compensation, medical, dental, and vision benefits, matching 401K and monthly wellness stipend
- The chance to help grow a purpose-led brand from the ground up.
