About the Role
As our Commercialization Manager, you’ll lead the execution of Supergut’s product roadmap—including renovations, pack-size extensions, packaging updates, and other pipeline initiatives—from concept through market launch. You will build and manage project timelines, guide teams through our stage-gate process, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep launches on track.
This role is highly cross-functional and central to our growth engine. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Creative, Sales, and Finance to deliver flawless, on-time, and on-budget product introductions. What You'll Do
- Lead commercialization for product renovations, pack-size extensions, packaging updates, and formula transitions.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are met.
- Own and maintain the master commercialization calendar, including launches, reformulations, and end-of-life transitions.
- Guide projects through Supergut’s stage-gate process, ensuring all requirements and documentation are complete ahead of each gate review.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Creative, Brand Marketing, Sales, Finance) to ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability.
- Lead weekly project meetings, ensuring clear communication of updates, risks, next steps, and owners.
- Partner with Supply Chain and R&D to manage formula and packaging transitions for seamless handoffs.
- Proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and gaps—driving resolution to maintain timeline, cost, and quality expectations.
- Establish and uphold governance processes to ensure consistent, complete, and compliant product launches.
- Conduct post-mortem reviews and implement learnings to strengthen future launch cycles.
- Partner with Creative and Design teams to develop packaging timelines and deliverables for new and updated products.
- Manage artwork routing, consolidate feedback, and lead cross-functional approvals.
- Oversee artwork qualification with packaging vendors to ensure accuracy, print feasibility, and readiness.
- Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and executive-level updates to communicate progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Create and manage product specifications and documentation so teams have access to accurate and updated information.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase speed-to-market, efficiency, and scalability.
- Contribute to the evolution of Supergut’s commercialization framework as the business grows.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in commercialization, product management, operations, or similar roles within CPG or adjacent industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 30%.
- Experience managing renovations, packaging transitions, and formula changes strongly preferred.
- Technical knowledge of packaging development, graphics, and printing processes is a plus.
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, stage-gate processes, and go-to-market workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, fast-moving timelines.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision.
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau) and expertise in Google Suite/Office.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, drive clarity, and communicate effectively across all levels.
- Strategic yet hands-on—comfortable rolling up your sleeves in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of identifying risks and making informed, proactive decisions.

Compensation
This position has an expected salary range of $115,000 - $130,000.
